Bee Safe Bee Removal | Second Floor Soffit Hive Removal Repair

Service Details

This job was on a second-floor exterior section, with bee traffic working in just below the ceiling line and into the soffit behind a plank about 25 feet up. From the ground, the entry looked small, but once I got set up at height it was clear the colony had built out well past the visible access point. Since the hive was active high on the structure, I kept the opening tight and worked the section carefully so I could reach the full cavity without spreading the job wider than needed. After opening the plank area, I removed a large amount of comb and bee material from the void, then cleaned the space so there would not be leftover wax and honey drawing attention back to the same spot. The whole removal was handled in one day. Once the cavity was cleared, I repaired the opened section and closed the access path at the soffit line. By the time I packed up, the structure was put back together and the main nesting area was no longer inside the wall section, though a few returning bees were still circling the old entry as expected.
