Bee Safe Bee Removal | Bee Hive Removal from Block Pillar

Service Details

Late May calls for bee activity are steady, and this one involved bees established inside a hollow block pillar at a residential entrance. The colony was entering and exiting through small gaps in the mortar joints. After confirming consistent traffic at one section of the pillar, I opened the block carefully to reach the hive. The comb was built vertically inside the cavity, attached to the inner wall of the concrete block. I removed the bees using a bee vacuum and transferred them into transport boxes for relocation. Once the colony was cleared out, I removed all visible comb and honey to prevent future attraction. The interior of the pillar was treated with a pheromone blocker to reduce the chance of reentry. After cleanup, I rebuilt the opened section of the block pillar and sealed the mortar joints so the structure was closed back up properly. Activity around the pillar tapered off as the remaining field bees returned and dispersed over time.
