Bee Safe Bee Removal | Large honey bee swarm cleared from parking lot

Service Details

Spring swarms are common this time of year, and this one had settled right on the pavement in a busy parking lot. I confirmed it was honey bees and not wasps, then set a small safety perimeter so nobody stepped into the cluster or tried to drive through it. Because the bees were on the ground, I focused on a gentle collection into a transport box, using the bee vacuum only to gather the outer bees without scattering them. Once the main mass was contained, I checked the pavement edges and nearby curb line for stragglers and made sure the cluster stayed calm and consolidated in the box before loading out. I treated the exact spot lightly with pheromone blocker to reduce the chance of the swarm re-forming in the same place. When I wrapped up, a few bees were still flying in the area, which is normal after a collection, but the bulk of the swarm was secured and moved offsite.
