Bee Safe Bee Removal | Interior Wall Bee Hive Removal

Service Details

On March 27th, I handled a live bee removal from a first floor interior wall in a residential home in the 77535 area. Early spring is when colonies begin expanding, and the activity level inside the wall reflected that growth. After speaking with the homeowner about where bees were being seen, I used an infrared camera to confirm the heat signature and determine the main concentration of the hive. The thermal images clearly outlined the cluster between studs, which helped me open the wall in the correct section without unnecessary cuts. Once access was made, I removed the bees using a bee vacuum and transferred them into a transport box for relocation. The comb was fully exposed and taken out section by section to prevent honey from remaining inside the cavity. After clearing the hive material, I treated the void with a pheromone blocker to reduce the chance of reentry. I then closed the wall opening and completed the necessary repairs so the area was sealed and structurally sound. Bee traffic at the exterior entry point decreased steadily as returning foragers dispersed over the next few hours.
