Bee Safe Bee Removal | Exterior Hive Removal Below Second-Floor Balcony

Service Details

This was a removal and repair job on the outside of the house, with the main hive set between the first and second floor below the balcony, in the gap between the brick and the siding. Bee traffic was concentrated along that outside section, but I used the thermal camera before opening anything so I could confirm the hive location and get a better read on how far it extended. That helped me size the cutout correctly instead of opening a larger section than necessary. Once I had the area mapped out, I opened the exterior at the hive line and removed the colony and comb from the wall space. The placement made the job a little tighter because of the brick and siding meeting in the same section, so I worked that area carefully to clear the material out cleanly and avoid leaving behind active residue in the cavity. After the removal, I completed the repair work on the access area and closed it back up so the outside section was put back in order. A few returning bees were still circling the spot afterward, which is normal on this kind of job.
