Bee Safe Bee Removal | Two soffit hives removed with repairs

Service Details

Late May jobs in this area often involve heavy bee traffic around rooflines, so I started by checking the soffit runs for entry points and then confirmed the active sections with my infrared camera. The thermal image showed two separate hot spots in the soffit, far enough apart to treat them as two hives instead of one spread-out cluster. I set up an extension ladder, opened the soffit in controlled sections, and used the bee vacuum to pull down the bulk of the bees before removing comb. After the comb came out, I worked the cavities clean and applied pheromone blocker to reduce the chance of bees reworking the same void. For the repair side, I re-secured the soffit material, sealed the seams and gaps with caulk, and made sure the original entry points were closed without trapping bees inside. When I wrapped up, there were still a few stragglers circling the eaves, which is normal for a soffit removal, but the main activity was coming down and the structure was buttoned back up.
